Vigor 2130Vn
The first high-speed Gigabit model with VoIP functionality is available starting today, the Vigor 2130Vn. VoIP This model is equipped with two FXS ports for connection of analog telephones. This makes it possible to use VoIP to make and receive calls.
The High speed Gigabit routers of the Vigor 2130 Series have Gigabit WAN and four Gigabit LAN ports, by which an impressive throughput of 800Mbps upstream and downstream can be achieved. This makes it an ideal solution for those using the high speed internet that is offered by several providers already.
Voice over IP
The Vigor 2130Vn has two FXS ports to connect two analog phones. It also has standard VoIP features such as qualtiy of service for guaranteed quality of VoIP calls, call forwarding, Do Not Disturb, telephone hotline and phonebook. With the Vigor 2130Vn it is possible to enter six different SIP accounts. SIP accounts can be set for each FXS port, allowing to have different numbers per FXS port.
Other features
Besides the VoIP functionality, the Vigor 2130Vn has functionalities such as firewall, VPN and two USB ports for printer, storage and 3.5 G capabilities. The n-models also have an 802.11n wireless access point.
Support IPv6
The entire 2130 series supports IPv4 and IPv6. So if your provider switches from IPv4 to IPv6 then the Vigor 2130 can remain without problems.
Green IT
The Vigor 2130 series offers two advanced energy saving technologies. One technology ensures that if a certain time no traffic on the ports (both LAN and WAN ports) occurs, these ports automatically are put in a power saving position. The same applies to the access point of Vigor 2130n. If this access point doensn't have data traffic during a certain period of time, it goes into a power saving mode. Should traffic be held again at the ports and/or access point then they will automatically be reactivated. The other technology which the Vigor 2130 series supports can determine the length of the cables connected. On this basis, the Vigor 2130 calculates the energy needed to send data.
